The purpose of this product is to allow clients to save for investment or to raise capital. Savings Account is an interest-bearing account meant for all groups, individuals, associations, and companies. Customers are given passbooks from which they easily read and keep documented track of their current balances. Interests are calculated daily and applied at the end of every month.

This account type is normally termed as a business account that is recommended for those in brisk business. It is a cheque-bearing account meant for businessmen/women, salaried customers, groups, companies, and individuals who frequently need money for their business operations. Withdrawals on credit balances can be made as frequently as possible. Other benefits include overdrafts and loans.

Susu Account
This innovative savings product is designed for clients who find it difficult to leave their homes and workplaces to go to the bank. It gives them the unique opportunity to save with the bank through the network of mobile banking staff. AARBL operates two separate accounts under the Susu scheme. These are ‘Susu Waawaa’ and ‘Woforo Dua Pa.’
- ‘Susu Waawaa’: a normal Susu deposit account meant for petty traders who would want to save and withdraw their balances at the end of every month.
- ‘Woforo Dua Pa’: a susu package designed for small depositors who make savings with the intention of accessing micro credit under the product.

Loans Products
This facility is granted to salaried account holders, Non salaried account holders, businessmen and women, agricultural venture, and Funeral Rites Cheifs who want to get a Loan and divided in Various Loan Products as follows
Salary Loans: This credit facility is granted to salaried account holders who receive their salaries through the bank monthly.
PSELF Loans: Asakyam PSELF Loans are loans given to Controller and Accountant General(CAG) Salary workers who do not Save or Run Salary Accounts with the bank. The Rate is 35% per annum and 1% percent of insurance on Loan Amount Granted.
Trading/Commercial Loan: This is a business loan facility targeted at account holders such as individuals, corporate bodies, and enterprises to support activities.
Agricultural Loans: The loans are extended to person who engage in productive agricultural ventures to enable them to finance their activities. The facility is also aimed at contributing to the achievement of the national goals of security.
Micro Finance Loans

It gives them the unique opportunity to save with the bank through the network of mobile banking staff. AARBL operates three separate accounts under the Susu scheme. These are ‘‘Woforo Dua Pa.’ Adwuma Nkosuo and ‘Credit Savig with Education’
- Woforo Dua Pa Susu Loan’: a Susu package designed for small depositors who make savings with the intention of accessing micro-credit under the product.
- ‘Adwuma Nkosuo ’: a normal Susu deposit account meant for petty traders who would want to save and Get Loans to expand their Business Venture.
Funeral Loans(Abusuapanin Anidaso)
This facility is designed to enable account holders/non-account holders to have access to funds when bereaved to perform funeral rites.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant shall satisfy the following criteria
- Shall be 18 years and above with sound mind
- Must be willing to become account holder of the bank. (i.e account can be opened on the same day to qualify)
- Must be a member of the bereaved family
- Must be a resident in the operational area of the bank
Remittance Services
The Bank currently operates two foreign money transfers namely Western Union and MoneyGram. Domestic money transfers offered are Apex Link and those offered by Telecommunication companies MTN Mobile Money and Tigo Cash.
Overdraft
This facility grants current account holders the opportunity to overdraw their current accounts within a specified limit and period.
Interbank-Transfer
It is an electronic payment network linking together all financial institutions. It is used by individuals, businesses, financial institutions and governmental organizations.
